Jean and Lucien of Bleu Désert began their career in music videos, making a name for themselves through striking collaborations with artists such as Nekfeu, Kekra and Ziak. They have since become known for commercials that marry technical craft with evocative storytelling, working with Salomon, Hennessy, Cupra, and most recently, Omoda 7 with Uncommon London. Awards and nominations include recognition at the Berlin Music Video Awards, D&AD and Ciclope for ‘Même pas un grincement’, their film with rapper Ziak; and 1.4, Berlin Commercial and Sharks for ‘Takita’. In 2025, their short ‘Deadlock’ was part of the official selection at FIPADOC, and the Sundance Documentary Short Film Program.
