Leigh Powis spent the first years of his life in a small mountain town in Chamonix, before settling in Vancouver, where he began his career as a professional skier (with the scars to prove it.) It was during this time that Powis began filming award-winning action sports films which quickly led to directing campaigns for brands such as Hoka, Gatorade, Puma, Oakley and the NFL.

With a keen eye for action and a background in post-production, Powis pushes the boundaries of each project he approaches. Recent campaigns for Absolut Tabasco, Adidas UK x Oasis and Under Armour have garnered critical acclaim and award recognition.
